We provide a warm and caring after-school program, five days per week throughout the school year, where local students can enjoy a variety of fun, educational, and recreational activities.

Activities in our Program
Our program is called “Let’s Learn After School Enrichment.” We had a successful year last year with our Yoga, Piano, Creative Art, Creative Painting, and Chinese Literacy components of the program. In addition to continuing these activities this year, the program will also enrich students by having Guitar class, Irish dance, Soccer, Volleyball, and Physical Education class.

Mrs. Liu is the Academic Director. She graduated from Towson University with dual major in Elementary Education & Special Education. She also has her 90 hour certification. She was a teacher for 10 years before taking on the role as director. Mrs. Liu loves to see the excitement and enthusiasm that young children have when learnin

She was a teacher for 10 years before taking on the role as director. Mrs. Liu loves to see the excitement and enthusiasm that young children have when learning new things. She hopes to model kindness, patience and a love for learning.

Ms. Emily teaches Yoga and Irish Dance, which includes a combination of stretching, ballet
technique, tap, and Irish dance choreography, with an emphasis on learning proper form all
while having fun moving to stay strong and healthy.

Ms. Shen is our Chinese teacher. She was born in Beijing and has master degree in hospitality & tourism management. She is a certified intermediate teacher to teach Chinese as a foreign language with philosophy of each child is unique. Her past experiences include working at Chinese American School as well as Potomac Elementary school af

Her past experiences include working at Chinese American School as well as Potomac Elementary school after-school programs. Hong has been married for 15 years with two boys resident in VOU.

Ms. Yang graduated from the Art College of Guangzhou University and won the Bronze Award for Children's Art Golden Dragon Cup. She teaches various skills in sketching, coloring and painting, while nurturing the students' creativity, imagination and talent.

Mrs. Debru is the lead teacher in our program. She has her CDA. She also has her 90 hour certifications. She has been married for 14 years and has three daughters.
